Re-editing title sequence

Today we had to re-edit the film opening of 'Arlington Road' and add a title sequence in the conventional order. Here is our experiment of adding title sequence:

The title sequence is in the conventional order that we researched before (here is our research).
We used Final Cut Pro and it was easy to add the titles as well as adjust it how we wanted.

1. We click in the little icon with the 'A' and select 'Text'.
 2. It will open an example of a sample text, then we click in the tab 'controls' to edit it as we wish. We can write what we want, choose the style, the font, etc. We chose the font Copperplate Gothic because it helps to introduce the mood of the film.
 3. We go back to the initial tab (video) showing the example, and we click in this square icon, select 'Image Wireframe' in order to adjust the placement of the text in the framing.
 4. After we adjust the text in the place we want it to be, we click in the square icon again and select the original selection 'Image' to see the example.
 5. Then we drag it down to the time line. We also added fade ins and fade outs in all of the titles so it would look better and help to create the suspenseful atmosphere. Here is a screen shot of our timeline after we added the titles:
